The Rotary District Public Image Chair is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to create and maintain a positive public image for the Rotary District. This role requires close collaboration with the District Governor, club leaders, and the Public Image Committee to enhance public awareness of Rotary’s work and its contributions to the community.

· Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive public image plan that aligns with Rotary International's branding guidelines and the district's strategic goals.
· Brand Management: Ensure consistent and effective use of the Rotary brand in all district communications and marketing materials.
· Media Relations: Serve as the primary media contact for the district; develop press releases, media kits, and cultivate relationships with local media outlets.
· Digital Presence: Oversee the district's online presence, including the website, social media accounts, and online marketing campaigns.
· Public Relations Campaigns: Coordinate district-level public relations campaigns to promote Rotary’s image, events, and initiatives.
· Training and Support: Provide support and training to clubs in the district on public image best practices and resources.
· Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of public image activities and campaigns.
· Committee Leadership: Lead the Public Image Committee, setting goals, delegating tasks, and ensuring collaboration among team members.
· Experience: Proven experience in public relations, marketing, or a related field. Prior experience in a Rotary leadership role is highly desirable.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Rotary in a professional manner.
· Digital Literacy: Competence with digital tools, including social media platforms, content management systems, and basic graphic design tools.
· Team Leadership: Experience in leading teams and working collaboratively with volunteers.
· Rotary Knowledge: Strong understanding of Rotary’s mission, vision, and brand guidelines.
· Creativity: Ability to develop innovative ideas for promoting Rotary's public image.
